We were approached by an Australian hosting company – Avanti – to modernise their stationery and marketing collateral. Our creative angle, which was welcomed with open arms by the head guys at Avanti, was to have a bit of fun with what is typically seen as a strictly corporate and information-heavy service offering in the technological industry. Although we were unable to redesign their existing logo due to corporate restrictions, we were allowed to run free within the rest of the brand and so we came up with the idea of our very own ‘Avanti dude’ who would front the new brand direction spreading joy wherever we went. It’s a hosting company after all, and we felt it needed a light hearted change of public perceptions. Now making a hit down under, Avanti is looking to grow globally with their newly vitalised brand.
